(Judgment of the Court was made by DR.ANITA SUMANTH, J.) Heard Mr.A.S.Vaigunth, learned counsel for Mr.R.Boopathy, learned counsel for Dr.M.G.R.Medical University, Mr.R.Harihara Selvan, learned counsel for R1 and Mr.J.Ashok, learned Additional Government Pleader for R2 to R4.

2.This writ appeal has been instituted challenging an interim order dated 07.10.2025. The learned Single Judge has noted that, out of a total of 100 seats, 52 relate to Government quota and 25 under Management quota.

3.For the previous academic year, ie., 2024-25, in the vacancy counselling held on 11.01.2025, 39 seats had remained unfilled, which R1 proceeded to fill in, at its own initiative. Since there had been no 2/4

allotment order, the Selection Committee had passed orders on 16.09.2025 to the effect that those appointments were not in order. 3.Since the Writ Petition is yet to be heard finally along with two other writ petitions pending on similar factual and legal matrix, we are disinclined to interfere with the issue at this stage except to state that fate of 39 students admitted for annual year 2024-25 shall be subject to the result of the final hearing of the writ petitions. 4.With this, this writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
