Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the Impugned Communication of the respondent, dated 30.10.2012 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondent to waive the loan availed by the Petitioner's son Senthil Kumar vide Loan Account No.N.F.S.82/2002-03 by giving benefit of G.O. Ms.No.96 dated 05.07.2006.

O R D E R

Today when the matter is taken up, the learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner's son has availed loan, for a sum of Rs.1,51,000/- from the respondent bank, for mushroom cultivation. Now, he has come up with this writ petition for a direction, directing the respondent to waive the loan amount availed by the Petitioner's son vide Loan Account No.N.F.S.82/2002-03 by giving benefit of G.O. Ms.No.96 dated 05.07.2006. This Writ Petition is not admitted so far and today, it is in the adjourned admission caption.

The learned Additional Government Pleader was put on notice for the respondent.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner's son has already repaid a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- to the respondent.

4. From the affidavit, it is seen that the respondent clearly stated in his impugned order that the loan has been issued for a non-agricultural activity. At this stage, there is no need of warranting interference of this Court. The petitioner will approach the authority concerned for any concession or any extension of time.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is closed. No Costs.
