By relying on a sale deed dated 23.02.2006, the petitioner had 1/4

applied for patta in respect of land in survey No.308/1A7. The present Writ Petition relates thereto.

2. Learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice for the sole respondent. On the basis of the written instructions, he states that patta No.1006 has been issued to one Rasaya in respect of above mentioned survey number. After issuing notice to the pattadar, he submits that a decision would be taken on merits.

3. In view of the above submissions, without expressing any opinion on the merits, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's application for patta on merits within three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner, the pattadar and any other persons concerned.
