Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of writ of certiorarified mandamus calling for the records relating to the impugned order of the first respondent in Na.Ka.Tha1/10439/2012 dated 23.04.2013 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents herein to disburse the salary payable to the petitioner from 15.07.2010 to 08.11.2011 as per the representation of the petitioner dated 10.09.2012 with reasonable interest within the time stipulated by this Court. ORDER

The impugned order dated 23.04.2013 passed by the first respondent rejecting the claim of the writ petitioner to pay the monetary benefits for the period of suspension is under challenge in the present writ petition.

2. The post of Makkal Nala Paniyalar was already abolished by the Government by way of a policy decision. This apart, the period of suspension cannot be regulated at this point of time and further, the post itself was abolished and therefore, the writ petitioner is at liberty to approach the appropriate authorities for the purpose of redressal of her grievance.
