Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 02.05.2025 seeking for bringing the shops in Mattuthavani Corporation Market for public auction as per the guidelines in G.O.Ms.No.92 dated 03.07.2007 within the time stipulated by this Court. ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking a Mandamus directing the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 02.05.2025 seeking for bringing the shops in Mattuthavani Corporation Market for public auction as per the guidelines in G.O.Ms.No.92 dated 03.07.2007 within the time stipulated by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.D.Sasikumar, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice on behalf of the first respondent, Mr.P.Anbunithi, learned
Standing Counsel, who takes notice on behalf of the respondents 2 and 3 and Mr.D.Shanmugaraja Sethupathi, learned counsel, who takes notice on behalf of the fourth respondent. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

It is the case of the petitioner that he had sent a representation on 02.05.2025 to the third respondent seeking to bring the shops situated in Mattuthavani Corporation Market for public auction as per the guidelines in G.O.Ms.No.92 dated 03.07.2007. however, the said representation has not been considered so far. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

In view of the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directs the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.05.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as other interested parties.
