By relying on a judgment and decree dated 15.03.2023 in O.S.No. 87 of 2019, a release deed dated 10.09.2024 and a joint patta No.7928, the petitioner had applied online for a survey of land in survey Nos. 1016/3A and 1027/2. The present Writ Petition relates thereto.

2. Learned Government Advocate accepts notice for all the respondents. He submits that action would be initiated on the petitioner's application for a survey after issuing notice to the joint pattadars and to owners of relevant adjacent lands.

3. One of the reliefs granted in O.S.No.87 of 2019 is rectification of survey No.1017 as survey No.1027/2. This is one of the survey numbers sought to be surveyed by the petitioner. Therefore, it is necessary to ascertain whether any appeal was filed against the judgment 2/4

and decree. For such purpose, notice should be issued to the defendants therein before a decision is taken on the petitioner's request for a survey.

Subject to the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the third and fourth respondents to initiate action on the petitioner's request for a survey after issuing notice to all the pattadars in patta No.7928, the owners of relevant adjacent lands and the defendants in O.S.No.87 of 2019. Objections, if any, from these persons shall be considered before a decision is taken. The entire process shall be concluded within four (4) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
