2.The petitioner belongs to Scheduled Caste community. Her minor son died due to drowning on 04.11.2023. The petitioner seeks payment of ex gratia compensation from the Hon'ble Chief Minister's General Relief Fund. In this regard, enquiry was already conducted and a recommendatory proposal has been sent to the fifth respondent. The fifth respondent is the authority competent to grant sanction. 3.It is submitted by the respondents that after the fifth respondent grants sanction, the District Collector will issue suitable proceedings and also disburse the same. The fifth respondent is directed to take a call in the matter. I have not given any positive direction. 4.This Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
