By relying on a sale deed dated 22.09.2020 and patta No.1524 in the name of the petitioner's vendor, Ramaswamy Gounder, the petitioner had applied for a patta in respect of the portions acquired by him. The present Writ Petition relates thereto.

2. Learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice for all the respondents. He submits that the Tahsildar would conduct an inquiry and pass orders on merits after issuing notice to the current pattadar or his legal heirs and the owners of the remaining 2/3 share in survey Nos. 726/1, 817/3 and 818/9.

3.In the above facts and circumstances, without expressing any opinion on the merits, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the third respondent to conduct an inquiry in relation to the petitioner's application for patta after issuing notice to Ramaswamy Gounder or his legal heirs and the owners of the remaining 2/3 share in land in survey 2/4
