*********** The petitioner submitted a representation on 31.03.2011, requesting the second respondent to construct a drainage at Library Street, Ward No.9, Tisaiyanvilai Town Panchayat, Radhapuram Taluk, Tirunelveli District. Since the representation was not taken up for consideration, the petitioner has come up with this Writ Petition.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government Advocate on behalf of the respondents 1, 4 and 5 and the learned counsel for the second respondent. None appears on behalf of the third respondent.

3. The second respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the representation dated 31.03.2011 on merits and as per law. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. The petitioner is directed to forward a copy of the representation along with a copy of this order so as to enable the second respondent to pass appropriate orders as expeditiously as possible.

5. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
