ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed to direct the 2nd respondent to expedite the appeal pending on the file of the second respondent in Na.Ka.No.Aa6/9304/12 dated 21.12.2012.
2. Aggrieved against the order of the third respondent, transferring the patta in favour of one Raja Manivel, the petitioner filed an appeal before the second respondent on 12.11.2012. Since the appeal was not disposed of for a considerable time, the writ petition came to be filed.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing the learned
counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the appeal has not been disposed of till date.
4. Though the petitioner has filed an appeal way back in the year 2012, the second respondent has not chosen to pass orders. Hence, it would be appropriate to direct the second respondent to consider the appeal as expeditiously as possible.
5. Under such circumstances, there shall be an order by way of a direction to the second respondent to consider the appeal filed by the petitioner and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well the objections, if any, on behalf of the respondents 4 to 7.
6. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
