The writ petition has been filed for a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 6 to consider the, representation dated 08.08.2013 to enable the petitioner, his family members to participate in the main event of Muthumariamman Temple Festival situated Venthony Village, Paramakudi Taluk on 20.08.2013 and 21.08.2013. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Special Government Pleader on instructions submitted that the matter has become infructuous and nothing survives in the writ petition. 3.In view of the said submission, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also dismissed.
