This writ petition has been filed for a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records on the file of second respondent pertaining to its order bearing Ref 010600/MDI/CRS-744/1/2025 dated 2/6

12.09.2025 and to quash the same and consequently directing the respondents to disburse Rs.79,402/- spent by the petitioner for his treatment within stipulated time fixed by this Court. 2.The claim for medical reimbursement is governed by a scheme framed by the Government wherein, the District Level Committee and the State Level Committee had been constituted for redressing the grievances of the insured with respect to reimbursement of medical expenses incurred by them. When such a statutory remedy is available to the petitioner, it would be proper for the petitioner to exhaust the said alternate remedy.

3.In such view of the matter, there shall be a direction to the petitioner to approach the District Level Committee constituted by the Government. If such representation is made by the petitioner, the District Level Committee shall consider the claim of the petitioner and dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law. 3/6

4. The writ petition stands disposed of with the above direction. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
