ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the second respondent not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry on the complaint given by the third respondent based on the petitioner's representation dated 25.10.2025.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that the respondent Police is not harassing the petitioner; that an enquiry is pending on the complaint given by the third respondent against the petitioner; and that the enquiry would be completed within a period of two weeks.

3. Recording the above submission, this Court directs the second respondent to complete the enquiry within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is needless to say that the respondent Police cannot harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry. However, if the petitioner's presence is required for enquiry, the respondent Police shall issue summons to the petitioner.

4. With the above observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
