ORDER
The petitioners seek to quash the impugned FIR in Crime No.400 of 2025 on the file of the first respondent police, which was registered for the offences under Sections 191(2), 296(b), 351(2) of BNS Act and Sections 3(1)(r), 3(1)(s), 3(1)(t) of SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989.

2.When this Court expressed that the points raised by the learned counsel for the petitioners are factual in nature, the learned counsel for the petitioners sought permission of this Court to withdraw this criminal original petition and has made an endorsement to that effect. However, the learned counsel for the petitioners would request that a direction may be issued to the respondent police to expedite the investigation and file the final report.
3. In view of the above submissions, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as withdrawn with a direction to the respondent police to conclude the investigation in Crime No.400 of 2025 and file a final report within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the final report, he is at liberty to challenge the same as and when it is filed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
