This writ petition has been filed for a writ of mandamus directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 05.08.2013 and consequently to direct the first respondent to issue permanent patta to the petitioner for the property in S.No.71/3B, 1 acre of Thinayakudi Village, Manamelkudi Taluk, Pudukottai District. 2.According to the petitioner, he is doing agricultural work for the past 40 years in the survey No.71/3B of Thinayakudi Village, Manamelkudi Taluk, Pudukottai District. The Government issued temporary patta on 22.02.1976 for temporary occupation. He is in possession and enjoyment of the property. In the above circumstances, the petitioner has sent a representation dated 05.08.2013 to the first respondent for https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

issuance of permanent patta to the above said land. The respondents did not pass any order on the representation.

3.In the circumstances, he has come out with the present writ petition for the above relief.

4.Even though, the petitioner has sought for a larger relief, it will be sufficient, if the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the petitioner to give fresh representation to the first respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on receipt of such representation, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks thereafter. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
