This writ petition has been filed, seeking to direct the respondents to permit the petitioners to pursue their 1st and 2nd year B.Ed. course in the fourth respondent institute, Umaiyal teacher training institute run by Umaiyal Educational Development Trust, Theni and to take the periodical examinations and results which are slated to commence during June 2011 or on any other dated to be fixed for the examinations as well as to publish the results and award the Diploma.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that this writ petition has become infructuous, as nothing survives for further adjudication in this matter.
3. In view of the above submission, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
