IV (1)/124098/2006 dated 13.03.2008 in favour of his con-delinquent Athmanathan and to extend the same benefit to the petitioner and to refix his seniority and provide all promotional, monetary and other service benefits in par with his batch mates within a stipulated time. ORDER
The relief sought for in the present writ petition is for a direction to direct the first respondent to consider the mercy petition filed by the writ petitioner through proper channel against the order of punishment imposed on the writ petitioner. 2.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents made a submission that the mercy petition was considered by the Government and the order was passed in G.O.(2D) No.45 Home (Police VI) Department dated 11.02.2015. 3.In view of the fact that the mercy petition also had already been disposed of by the Government. No further adjudication needs to be entertained in this petition.
