The present writ petition has been filed to direct the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 20.06.2013 for grant of patta for the land in Survey No.542, Palayam Village, Vedasanthur Taluk, Dindigul District.

2.It is seen that the petitioners have already approached the respondents by way of their representation dated 20.06.2013 for granting patta. Since no orders have been passed so far, the present writ petition has been filed for the aforementioned relief.

3.Considering the limited prayer sought for and without expressing any view on the merits and contentions raised by the petitioners, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 20.06.2013 and pass appropriate orders as expeditiously as possible. No costs.
