For Petitioner : Mr.Veera Kathiravan For Respondents : Mr.S.Kumar, AGP for R1 Mr.M.Ajmal Khan, Senior Counsel for M/s.Ajmal Associates for R2 COMMON ORDER All these Writ petitions have been filed to quash the resolution dated 31.07.2013 passed by the 2nd respondent and impugned orders dated 16.08.2013 and consequently, direct the 2nd respondent to renew the lease of the petitioners' shops within a time frame.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and also Mr.M.Ajmal Khan learned Senior Counsel appearing for the respondent / Town Panchayat. 3.The learned Senior Counsel appearing for the respondent / Town Panchayat pointed out that all these Writ petitions are challenging the impugned orders for extending the period from 2013 to 31.03.2016 for their respective shops. Now, the respondent / Town Panchayat has clearly stated that they have no objection to extend the time for all the shops till 31.03.2016 subject to payment of rent for those periods.

4.Recording the statement made by the learned Senior Counsel appearing for the respondent / Town Panchayat, nothing survives in these Writ petitions. Accordingly, these Writ petitions are closed. No costs. Consequently, connected M.Ps.are closed.
