ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to renewal the petitioner's passport in passport No.K3024938 by 1/4

processing the petitioner's application in File No.MD5075590374725 dated 04.09.2025 by considering his representation dated 18.10.2025 within the time stipulated by this Court.

Heard Mr.K.Dinesh, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Saravanakumar, learned Central Government Standing Counsel, who takes notice for the respondent. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. It is the contention of the petitioner that his application for renewal of passport has not been acted by the respondent on the ground that adverse report was received against the petitioner.

4. The learned Central Government Standing Counsel, on instructions, would submit that the representation of the petitioner would be considered within a time stipulated by this Court.

5. In view of the above submission, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 18.10.2025 and pass order thereon, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4
