This writ petition has been filed, seeking a Writ of Mandamus forbearing the respondents from allowing quarry operation in Santhanavardhini River bed and in survey Nos.63 and 64 and its Subdivisions situate in Periyakottai Village, Dindigul Taluk and District.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that this writ petition has become infructuous, as nothing survives for further adjudication in this matter.

3. In view of the above submission, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
