O R D E R

The petitioner asserts that he is the owner of the land in survey No. 2188/5 and that the fifth respondent's husband had purchased the land in survey No.2188/20 of an extent of 61.2 sq.m. On the ground that the patta had been obtained fraudulently for an excess extent of 20 sq.m., a representation was submitted to the third respondent. The petitioner seeks the early disposal thereof.

2. Learned Government Advocate accepts notice for respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.H.Arumugam, learned counsel, accepts notice for the fourth respondent. He submits that the Tahsildar would submit a report and that the Revenue Divisional Officer would issue orders on merits after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and the fifth respondent herein.

3. In view of the above submissions of learned Government Advocate, it is unnecessary to issue notice to the fifth respondent in this Writ Petition. Instead, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to conclude the inquiry and issue a speaking order within three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after providing reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and the fifth respondent. No costs.
