ORDER

The Writ Petition is filed for the issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus challenging the impugned proceedings dated 23.10.2025 and consequently grant permission to conduct Kabadi Tournament on 15.11.2025 and 16.11.2025 at Arunachalapuram Village, Kadayanallur Taluk, Tenkasi District.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would fairly submit that earlier, a similar request was considered by this Court and the petitioner may send a fresh representation and the same would be favourably considered in terms of the Circular issued by the Director General of Police in Rc.007301/ Genl.I(1)/2019 dated 09.04.2019.

In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Writ Petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to send a fresh representation to the respondents for conducting the Kabadi Tournament. On such representation, the respondents shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law.
