ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by G.K.ILANTHIRAIYAN, J.) This petition has been filed seeking amendment of the Judgment and Award passed by this Court in C.M.A(MD)No.1382 of 2015, dated 17.02.2022, wherein the total compensation was reduced to Rs.18,43,000/- from Rs.19,23,000/- instead of from Rs.19,33,000/-.
2.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.
3.On perusal of the Judgment and Decree passed by the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal (IV Additional District Court), 2/4
Tirunelveli, it is seen that, by order in I.A.No.519 of 2015, dated 02.09.2015, the Tribunal had already corrected the award amount as Rs.19,33,000/-. Therefore, no further amendment is required in the Judgment and Award passed in the Civil Miscellaneous Appeal. 4.Accordingly, this Civil Miscellaneous Petition is dismissed.
