Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 5th respondent to take action based on the petitioner's complaint dated 19.09.2025 by recovering the golden ornaments of 1861.35 gms and the silver 12699.40 gms from the respective accused person within the period.

The petitioner seeks a direction to the fifth respondent to take action on the petitioner's complaint dated 19.09.2025 and consequently, recover the gold and silver ornaments from the accused persons. 2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police, on instructions, would submit that based on the petitioner's complaint, an FIR was registered in Crime No.258 of 2025, for the offence under Section 108 BNS and that investigation would be completed in the near future. 3.Since the investigation is pending, there cannot be any direction issued 2/5

to the respondents to seize the articles. It is for the Investigating Officer to take suitable action on the complaint of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible. 4.With the above observation, this Writ Petition is disposed of.
