ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner challenging the impugned show-cause notice, dated 22.07.2013, issued by the second respondent viz., the Commissioner, Rameshwaram Municipality.

2. The above show-cause notice has been issued directing the petitioner to give his explanation for running a lodge without obtaining licence.

3. Since the impugned notice is only a show-cause notice, the petitioner cannot maintain a Writ Petition challenging the said show-cause notice.

4. In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to give his explanation before the second respondent in response to the show-cause notice, dated 22.07.2013 and on filing such explanation, the second respondent is directed to conduct enquiry and pass suitable orders, as expeditiously as possible, after giving opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
