ORDER

The order of suspension dated 01.07.2013 is under challenge in the present writ petition. The writ petitioner was placed under suspension on account of the registration of a criminal case and kept under judicial custody for more than 48 hours. 2.The learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the writ petitioner states that the order of suspension had already been revoked and the writ petitioner was reinstated in service and now working.

3.This being the factum, the respondents are directed to proceed with the departmental disciplinary proceedings contemplated in the Rules. However, the order of suspension already revoked need not be reopened till the conclusion of the departmental disciplinary proceedings as well as the disposal of the criminal case. In view of the fact that the order of suspension had already been revoked, no further consideration is required in respect of the other grounds raised in the writ petition.
