ORDER

The petitioner seeks to quash the impugned FIR in Crime No.329 of 2023, on the file of the respondent police, which was registered for the offences under Sections 505(1)(c) of IPC and 66 of IT Act. 2.It is the case of the petitioner that he has not intended to provoke a breach of peace and that he had only stated the facts. 3.When this Court expressed that the points raised by the learned counsel for the petitioner are factual in nature, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that though the impugned FIR was filed on 04.07.2023, the respondent police have not filed the final report sofar and that the petitioner's right to speedy trial is violated. Therefore, the learned counsel requested that the respondent police may be directed to file the final report within a time stipulated by this Court.

4. In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to conclude the investigation in Crime No.329 of 2023 and file a final 2/4

report within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 17.11.2025 NCC :Yes/No Index :Yes/No Internet :Yes/No cp TO 1.The Inspector of Police, Sivagangai Town Police Station, Sivagangai.
