Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a WRIT OF MANDAMUS, to direct the Respondents to pay the terminal benefits (Pension, Death cum Retirement Gratuity, Family Pension, etc.,) with 12% rate of interest from the date of the death of the Petitioner s husband Mr. Somu Pillai on 05-08-1968 with in the stipulated period which this Honourable Court.

When the matter was taken up on 12.03.2018, none appeared on behalf of the writ petitioner. Hence, the matter was directed to be listed under the caption "For dismissal". Again on 19.03.2018 when the matter was taken up for hearing none appeared for the writ petitioner. This Court by showing leniency directed the matter, once again to be listed, under the caption "For dismissal".

2. In spite of several opportunities granted, when the matter was taken up for hearing today also i.e. on 22.03.2018, none appeared on behalf of the writ petitioner. Hence, the writ petition is dismissed for non prosecution. However, there shall be no orders as to costs.
