This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to take appropriate action against the persons who are carrying on quarry operation in Alwarthoppu in Sri Parangusanallur Panchayat (Revenue Village) at Sri Vaikundam Taluk, Thoothukudi District.

2.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 5 states that the permission granted to the licensees was already over in the year 2012. Therefore, the relief sought for in the writ petition has become infructuous. 3.Recording the same, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
