By asserting that the land in survey No.4/2 of an extent of 5.31 acres was recorded in the settlement 'A' Register in the name of the petitioner's great grandfather, Thiru.A.Perumal, but was wrongly recorded in the name of one Jeevan Aasari during the UDR, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 12.12.2022 to the District Revenue Officer. The present Writ Petition relates thereto.

2. Learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice for all the respondents. He submits that the second respondent would consider and dispose of such representation on merits within three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and the pattadars.

3. Accordingly, without expressing any opinion on the merit, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to 2/4

consider and dispose of the petitioner's request for correction of alleged UDR errors within three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and the pattadars. A copy of the representation shall be forwarded by the petitioner to the second respondent along with a copy of this order to enable further action. No costs.
