ORDER

The petitioner seeks to quash the impugned complaint filed for the offence under Sections 138 & 142 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, mainly on the ground that the complaint is barred by limitation. 1/3

2. On perusal of the records, it is seen that the trial has already been commenced and the respondent has been examined as P.W.1. Hence, this Court is not inclined to quash the complaint, at this stage.

3. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to raise all the points before the trial Court. The learned trial Judge may conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible.
