ORDER
In view of the subsequent developments that had taken place after filing the writ petition, the petitioner was permitted vide order dated 06.11.2017 to amend the relief sought as follows: "For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit it is prayed that this Hon'ble Court be pleased to issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other Writ or Order or Direction in the nature of Writ, directing the 3rd respondent to pass orders on the proposal dated 23.01.2017 issued by the 4th respondent for regularizing the petitioner's services and for disbursement of his pay benefits, within the time frame fixed by this Hon'ble Court and pass such further or other orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case and thus render justice." https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 2.Heard Mr.R.Subramanian, learned counsel appearing for the
petitioner and Mr.A.K.Baskara Pandian, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3. 3.Having regard to the limited nature of the relief sought for, this Court, without expressing any view on the correctness or entitlement of the claim made, directs the third respondent to consider the proposal made by the 4th respondent dated 23.01.2017, in respect of the service benefit of the petitioner and pass reasoned orders on merits and in accordance with law and communicate such decision to the petitioner and file a report of such compliance before the Registrar (Judicial), Madurai Bench of Madras High Court, Madurai on or before 31.01.2018.
4.Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed with the above directions. No costs.
