The Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to dispose of the representation submitted for the purpose of issuance of patta.

2. The affidavit filed in support of the petition is bereft of details. The affidavit does not contain the survey number or the extent of the property. There is no question of issuing a direction to the respondent to consider the representation without ascertaining the description of the property including its survey number. I am therefore of the view that Mandamus cannot be issued as prayed for by the petitioner.
