ORDER
These two Writ Petitions have been filed by the Workman as well as the Management, challenging the award of the Labour Court passed in I.D.No.58 of 1996, dated 18-09-2010.
2. The counsel for the petitioner in WP(MD).No.4015 of 2011 and the second respondent in WP(MD).No.6829 of 2011 viz., Mr.D.Prabhakar is not present.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner in W.P(MD).No.6829 of 2011 and the second respondent in W.P(MD).No.4015 of 2011 viz., Management has filed a Memo and the copy of the Settlement and submitted that the matter has been settled between the parties under Section 18(1) of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947. As per the said settlement, both parties have agreed to withdraw the respective writ petitions.
4.. Hence, both the Writ Petitions are dismissed as settled out of Court, in view of the settlement reached under Section 18(1) of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
