For Petitioner : Mr.A.Thirumurthy For Respondents : No Appearance (R1 to R3) For Respondent-4 : Mr.N.Subramani in WP(MD)No.6996/2011) COMMON ORDER The writ petitions have been filed praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider petitioners' joint representation, dated 28.02.2011 and direct the respondents to delete the petitioners name with effect from 2003 from the Directorship as well as from the records maintained by respondents.
2. I have heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.
3. After some elaborate arguments, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submitted that it would be suffice, if the representations of the petitioners are considered, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
4. In view of the limited scope of the prayer, without going into the merits of the matters, the respondents are directed to consider and pass appropriate orders on the said representations of the petitioners, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the necessary parties, if any, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
