Respondents Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents to exercise the power only in accordance with the Original Memorandum of Association (MoA) Bye Law, Rules and Regulations of the Gandhigram Rural Institute Deemed University, Gandhigram, Tamilnadu, registered at the District Registrar of Societies Dindigul under the Societies Registration Act of Tamil Nadu during the year 1976 and direct the Syndicate to exercise powers of Vice Chancellor.
