ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 30.07.2024 for the offences punishable under Section 376(2)(1) of IPC, in Crime No.186 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner raped the defacto complainant, who is stated to be an insane person, as a result she became pregnant. Hence, the complaint.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offences as alleged by the prosecution. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready and willing to abide by any conditions which may be imposed by this Court and he is in judicial custody from 30.07.2024. Hence, he seeks bail to the petitioner.
4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner had involved in a henious offence. Hence, he opposed for grant of bail to the petitioner.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the fact that the petitioner has allegedly committed serious offence, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
