Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondent Nos.1 and 2 to produce the detenue petitioner's elder daughter namely Rohini, aged 20 years, D/o.Gomathi, before this Court and set her liberty to the petitioner.

O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by C.V.Karthikeyan, J.) This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed directing the protection of the elder daughter of the petitioner, aged about 20 years. We had directed that the daughter can appear through video conferencing either from Villupuram or from Namakkal. She has now appeared through video conferencing from Namakkal. The reason why we permitted her to appear through video conferencing is that she had very recently given birth to a child through cesarian operation. She is not in illegal confinement of anybody. We had seen her and also the child. She is accompanied by Mr.Muthusamy, Sub Inspector of Police, Rediar Chathiram Police Station, Dindigul District. We are satisfied that she is not under unlawful custody.
