ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by DR.ANITA SUMANTH, J.) The petitioner is the successful resolution applicant and is aggrieved by the action of the respondents in initiating proceedings to demolish the property in S.F.No.293/1B measuring 0.98.00 hectares in Pushpathur Village, Dindigul District, despite the pendency of an appeal and a stay application before the District Collector. 2.The appeal and stay application have been initiated as early as on 14.08.2025. We are hence of the view that the District Collector ought to hear the petitioner and dispose the stay application within a period of four weeks from today and we direct so. 2/4

3.Till such time, that is for a period of four weeks or till disposal of the stay application, whichever is earlier, status quo shall be maintained.

4.As this is the only relief sought in this Writ Petition and the Mandamus stands achieved, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs. Connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
