Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the Respondents to Survey and Mark the boundaries in respect of the petitioner property comprised in Survey No.191/10 having an extent of 49.4 cents and Survey No.191/11B to an extent of 1.2 cents in Kalladai Village, Kulithalai Taluk, Karur District.

By asserting that the patta No.799 is in the name of the petitioner, the petitioner had applied online for a survey of lands in survey Nos. 191/10 and 191/11B. The present Writ Petition relates thereto.

2. Learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice for both the respondents. He submits that action would be initiated on the petitioner's request for a survey after issuing notice to owners of relevant adjacent lands and considering objections, if any, from them.

3. The petitioner has placed on record the revenue record standing in his name. On instructions, learned counsel for the petitioner asserts that there is no rival title claim and that even a boundary dispute does not exist.

4. Considering the aforesaid, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to initiate action on the petitioner's request for a survey after issuing notice to owners of relevant adjacent lands and 2/4

considering objections, if any, from them. The entire process shall be concluded within three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. To the extent feasible, the respondents are directed to undertake the survey in such a manner as not to affect the cultivation carried on on the said land. No costs.
