Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3, from interfering with the civil disputes between the petitioner and the respondents 4 and 5 by granting police protection to the property which is the subject matter in O.S.No.334 of 2025 on the file of Principal District Munsif Court, Tirunelveli.

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 to 3 not to interfere in the civil disputes between the petitioner and the respondents 4 and 5 by granting police protection to the property, which is the subject matter in O.S.No.334 of 2025 on the file of Principal District Munsif Court, Tirunelveli.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that on the complaint given by the fourth respondent, enquiry was conducted and the same was closed.

3. In view of the above submission, the petitioner's apprehension that the respondent Police are interfering with the civil dispute, no longer exists.

4. However, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the Tahsildar has given a request for police protection for conducting a survey. Neither the learned counsel for the petitioner nor the learned counsel for the 2/4

fourth respondent have any objection for the respondent Police granting police protection for conducting the survey.

4. Recording the above submissions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
