Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to disburse with the retirement benefits such as leave salary, commutation ammount and all other terminal retirement benefits which the Petitioner is entitled from the date of 31.05.2005 with interest on the belated disburse of retirement benefits within a time frame fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed praying this Court for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to dispense with the retirement benefits which the Petitioner is entitled from the date of 31.05.2005 with interest on the belated disburse of retirement benefits within the time frame fixed by this Court.

2.The learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that it would suffice, if the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the Petitioner, dated 27.08.2012 given for the purpose of giving effect to the award dated 6.2.2008 in I.D.O.P.No.202 of 2002 passed by the Labour Court, Madurai.

3. Considering the submission of the Petitioner, without going into the merits of the case, a direction is issued to the respondent No.1 to dispose of the Petitioner's representation dated 27.08.2012 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
