By asserting the title under the sale deed dated 27.08.1981, the petitioner claims that the names of Alaga Devar and Periyasamy Devar were wrongly included in patta No.3479 relating to survey No.2450/2A. After submitting a representation to the District Collector, the Revenue Divisional Officer and the Tahsildar, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

2. Learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice for the sole respondent. He submits that the power of deletion of names therefrom is vested in the Revenue Divisional Officer.

3. In view of the above submissions, the Revenue Divisional Officer is suo motu impleaded as the second respondent in this petition.

4. Without making any observations on the merits, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the Revenue Divisional Officer to consider and dispose of the petitioner's request for deletion of the names 2/4

of Alaga Devar and Periasamy Devar from patta No.3479 on merits, after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner, Alaga Devar and Periasamy Devar. A speaking order shall be issued within three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
