This writ petition has been filed for a writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to grant minimum pension to the petitioner as per the G.O.Ms.No.158 dated 08.04.2015 based on the petitioner's representation dated 26.12.2023 along with interest.

2. Considering the fact that the petitioner's request for grant of minimum pension was recommended by the second respondent as early as on 12.07.2016, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to consider the claim of the petitioner based on the recommendation of the second respondent dated 12.07.2016 and in the light of the judgment of this Court in W.P(MD)No.2426 of 2018 dated 29.06.2025 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

3. The writ petition stands disposed of with the above direction. There shall be no order as to costs.
