This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to take appropriate action against the fourth respondent to forebear him from installing a statue of Bharathi Devendran in public place at new Mariamman Temple Street, Thennur, Trichy Town. 2.The issue with regard to the erection or removal of statue has to be decided only by the competent authority and therefore, the petitioner has to approach the competent authority. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
