Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to revoke the suspension order passed by the 2nd respondent in R.C.No. 2512/A2/2025 dated 15.03.2025, and reinstate the petitioner into service with all consequential and attendant benefits, by considering the petitioners representations dated 08.10.2025 and 18.10.2025. 1/4

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents to revoke the suspension order passed by the 2nd respondent in R.C.No. 2512/A2/2025 dated 15.03.2025, and reinstate the petitioner into service with all consequential and attendant benefits, by considering the petitioners representations dated 08.10.2025 and 18.10.2025.

2. The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that by judgement dated 04.11.2025, the petitioner has been acquitted in the criminal case that had been lodged against him. The order of suspension has been made by only citing the pendency of the criminal case lodged against the petitioner. Now, the petitioner has been acquitted in the criminal case by judgement dated 04.11.2025.

In such view of the matter, the second respondent is directed to revisit the order of suspension as per the Government Order in G.O.Ms.No. 81, Human Resources Management Department, dated 04.08.2022 and also taking into consideration of the order of acquittal passed in favour of the petitioner on 04.11.2025 and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
