..Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records relating to the order passed by the third respondent in his Na.Ka.No.K5/8563/11 dated 12.01.2012 quash the same and direct the respondents to grant patta to the petitioner in respect of the land in S.No.1394/1 and 1395/1 measuring about 3 acres 20 cents in Moolakaraipatty Village, Nanguneri Taluk, Tirunelveli District by making necessary classification changes.

ORDER

When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is represented by the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner that the sole petitioner is no more. He further submits that his endeavour to contact the legal representatives of the petitioner who are residing in different places did not yield any response. learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the legal representatives are informed about the pendency of the writ petition and he is not able to get them impleded to prosecute further.

2. In the above circumstances, no useful purpose will be served by giving time to take steps. Hence, this Court finds that the representatives of the petitioner are not interested in prosecuting the matter further and hence the writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous petition is also dismissed.
