ORDER

The petitioner seeks to quash the impugned FIR in Crime No.614 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police, which was registered for the offences under Sections 132 and 351(3) of BNS and Section 25(1B)(a) of Arms Act.

2.When this Court expressed that the points raised by the learned counsel for the petitioners are factual in nature, the learned counsel for the petitioners sought permission of this Court to withdraw this criminal original petition and has made an endorsement to that effect. However, the learned counsel for the petitioners would request that a direction may be issued to the respondent police to expedite the investigation and file the final report.

3. In view of the above submissions, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as withdrawn with a direction to the respondent police to conclude the investigation in Crime No.614 of 2024 and file a final report within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the final report, he is 2/4

at liberty to challenge the same as and when it is filed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
