.. Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records of the impugned order passed by the first respondent herein in his proceedings in No.A6/2493/2013,

dated 06.09.2013 and quash the same and consequently direct the first respondent herein to permit the petitioner (Vice President of the 3rd respondent panchayat) to sign in the Cheques along with the second respondent herein within a time stipulated by this Honourable Court.

ORDER

The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition challenging the impugned order passed by the first respondent herein vide his proceedings in No.A6/2493/2013, dated 06.09.2013 and consequential direction to the first respondent herein to permit the petitioner (Vice President of the 3rd respondent panchayat) to sign in the Cheques along with the second respondent herein within the stipulated time.

2. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner represents that the petitioner is not continuing as Vice President of the panchayat concerned. He also admits that the prayer in the writ petition has become infructuous. The writ petition is, therefore, dismissed. There is no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
